For some services and product openings at HypoVereinsbank, a successful legitimization is required. With the HVB Ident App, you can conveniently, quickly, and easily identify yourself.

• For this purpose, you need a valid identification document, a mobile device, a stable internet connection, and possibly access to your emails or SMS.
• You can carry out the legitimization process quickly and independently of the availability of a video call center with a German identity card with an online identification function.
• You need an NFC-capable smartphone to serve as a card reader. This ensures secure and encrypted transmission of the data from the respective identification document.
• If the online identification function cannot be used, you will be directly redirected to VideoIdent within the app. In this case, the identification process is conducted through a video chat with a certified employee of our service provider - identity Trust Management AG.

The identification methods employed have been reviewed and meet the strictest requirements for security and data protection.
